The Reverend Reagan Gonzalez was born in Odessa, Texas. She grew up in Bozeman, Montana and graduated from Montana State University in 2012 with a B.S. in Microbiology.
After graduating Reagan worked as a part time Youth Director and part time Research Assistant in the wheat genetics department at Montana State.
In 2013 she spent a year of discernment with the Episcopal Service Corps in Omaha, Nebraska where her time was split between parish ministry and non-profit work. In 2014 she returned to Montana to begin a formal discernment process towards the priesthood. While in discernment she worked as a Christian Formation Director, overseeing programming for nursery through college-aged adults.
Reagan graduated from Seminary of the Southwest, in Austin, Texas in 2018 with a Master of Divinity. She was ordained to the diaconate in December of 2017 at St. James’ Episcopal Church in Bozeman, MT. After graduation Reagan served as a curate at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was ordained to the priesthood in August of 2018 at St. Matthew’s.
Reagan is married to Bryan Gonzalez and they are expecting their first baby due in August 2019.
Reagan is trained in the Montessori theological program Godly Play, and values intergenerational programming and worship.
